Another video because I just can't help it!
Here's another video I took just the other day. Gordon had just gotten home from work and was waiting in the laundry room for Cody to "find" him! Excuse our annoying voices in the background...

He Walks Part 2!
You can't see his face deep in concentration, but this was too cute not to share! Check out the spin-move halfways through, and the ending is classic!
I have a feeling I'm going to be in this chasing position quite a bit from now on!
Hope you enjoy.

He Walks!
This will be my final post for this go around, and I'm going to have to finish it tomorrow as it is getting late here. But...you have all been waiting...here is a picture of Cody walking and....falling! I still have yet to capture this on video, but he is really practicing his walking all the time now...and I know he will soon be going everywhere on his own. He is very determined and extremely proud of himself every time he does it. I know it just makes our hearts swell with pride :)
More soon!
First Time in the Pool!
When we were in Baudette for Cody's baptism and visit, Gordon and I stayed at the motel in town (first night alone since Cody was born!!) which had a pool. We hadn't gotten the chance to take Cody in the pool yet, so we took advantage of it while we were staying there. Cody didn't think too much of the big pool (it was PACKED with people-I think there were a couple birthday parties going on; also, it was pretty cold), but they had a hot tub...which was NOT hot, it was like bath-water warm...and Cody went swimming not once, but twice! It took a little while but Cody got really into it...and boy, did that wear him out! He slept so good both nights at home with G'ma & G'pa.
Here are a few pictures from his adventures! I even went in the pool the second time with my little family while G'ma watched on.
Baptism
Cody was baptized on Sunday, May 10th at the First Congregational Church in Baudette, MN. It was such a special day! There were three babies baptized on this day, which is kind of odd given it's such a small church. Cody's godmother, Natasha, was able to attend the baptism along with her mama! We were so blessed to have them there. Also in attendance were G'ma & G'pa Anderson and Great G'ma Anderson. I was much more emotional during the ceremony than I thought I would be! I guess God works in mysterious ways :)
Unfortunately, we didn't get any photos that turned out of the actual ceremony, but here are a couple from afterwards at the potluck lunch in the church basement. (And yes, there were church basement ladies present.)

Garage Sale Finds
Hi there! I've been neglecting my blog lately, but I'm having a "computer night" (after making dinner, cleaning up after dinner, taking Cody for a walk and playing to the park, cleaning cat litter boxes & taking out recycling-whew!) so I thought I would try to catch up.

Garage sale season is here!!!!
WOO-HOO!!!
I've been lucky to go out saling a few times now, and I've been able to pick up some good things. Nothing earth shattering and nothing that will make me rich (like I have time for eBay anyway), but some fun items. I've started my "to look for" list on my phone (thanks Careen for the idea!) and I've already managed to cross off a couple things. Last weekend, from my list, I found computer speakers for Cody's room, a rug to set the snowblower on in the garage, and a waffle maker! I've got some clothes for Cody, toys (of course!), books, shoes for both Cody and I, some neat old yearbooks from the 40s (to look at and then try & resell), among other things.
In previous years, I've always logged all my garage sale finds, but I just don't have the time or desire to do it this year. That was more for resale purposes, but most of the stuff I've been buying lately is for our own use.
So far, I've been able to go out garage saling two Saturday mornings with my good friend, Careen. This is such wonderful "ME" time and I am just constantly smiling. We have such a great time!! Thank you also to my awesome hubby for watching Cody so I can go. I always come home super happy & refreshed. Careen and I always manage to fill up the backseat and/or trunk of the car, even though usually we don't have a clue what we ended up buying at the end of the morning! Thanks Careen for being a great driver and thank you Ms. Toyota Camry Hybrid for navigating us much better than I do!
The other weekend we were able to find this cute Little Tikes rocking horse. Cody loves it!! Gordon, Cody and I were actually out saling but Cody was napping so Gordon stayed in the car with him. I held up items at the sale to Gordon in the car while calling him on my cell phone and had him tell me yay or nay. LOL! Anyway, the rocking horse was $4, and it figures, I saw another one a week later at a church sale for $2.

Giddy-Up!
I guess he didn't want to stop riding the rocking horse?
Yay for garage sale season!

Puh-Push It Real Good!

Sorry that you have to tilt your head sideways and squint because it's so small (I have no idea what happened to my camera settings that the video is so tiny...perhaps it was our little button pusher??!), but I couldn't help but share this. He LOVES this push toy and we even put up with all the racket it makes because he's so darn cute with it. He doesn't quite know how to turn it or make it go the other way, so he was wanting me to stop filming and help him out already!
Oh, did I mention I paid $2.00 for it at a garage sale? :)
Hope you enjoy!!
